E-Safety

Technology has become integral to young people's lives and it is important that they know how to stay safe online and make the most of the opportunities that the internet provides. As a school we are continuously updating both our staff, pupils, parents and governors on the ever changing nature of technology and how we can stay safe.

The children have signed charters considering how they can use technology safely both during and outside of school, these are updated yearly to ensure that children realise the responsibility that they have when using technology. You can download a copy of the charters below.

We also run E-Safety meetings for parents in both the Spring and Summer term with a  particular focus on the themes and trends of technology usage in St Mary’s.

Below are some links to videos that can provide you with advice.
